5 Summer Looks

I've perused the latest issues of the magazines (I get about 10 a month) & am here to report what's hot (& not) for summer...

1. Chignons. Long hair is still the rave & there's no cooler look for summer than a simple-yet-messy bun, the chignon.

2. Liquid liner. This retro trend is back for now so enjoy it. Use a dark black & start at the inner corner of your upper lashline & draw outward, thickening as you go. Leave your bottom lid bare & whatever you do, don't play up your lips.

3. Part hair in the center. Try something new, stray from your side part & try out a center one. They're edgy & cool for summer.

4. Funky colors for your toes. Everyone's raving about Chanel's new line of nail polish colors. The 'orange-y' Orange Blossom is great for toes. Leave fingernails bare or painted in a simple gloss.

5. Consider bangs. Bangs are back. I love the long, side-swept ones. Stay away from blunt, thick bangs, like the flat-iron, they've yet to make a comeback
