It's Summer: Makeup to Skip

In the summer, all you really need to look gorgeous is a swipe of mascara, lipgloss (M.A.C. Lipglass is my favorite), a sweep of bronzer & a bit of powder (over your sunscreen of course).

You really don't need heavy foundation -- when it's hot out, who wants to layer moisturizer, sunscreen & foundation? But if you can't do without, you can get all 3 in Clinique's All-In-One Moisture Sheer Tint SPF 15. Also, keep in mind that you may need a darker foundation shade in summer to match your naturally darker skin.

hi lorette, sorry for the late reply, busy as it is. about my skin cleansing routine, people say my skin looks healthy, but if I look closely my pores are a bit big. I haven't used any moisutrizer ever, so my friend recommended Celeteque. I haven't noticed the effects yet. And can you please advise on how to lessen or get rid of the eyebags the natural way. I've tried concealers, they don't really help much. Thanks.

Hi - sorry to tell you, but there isnt that much you can do to reduce the size of your pores. But you can use these tips to minimize them:

- Remove excessive surface oils
- Use oil-free skin care products
- Get rid of blackheads
- Reduce sun exposure

Here is a homemade recipie that may help you with your eyebags:

Raw potato slices will help tighten baggy, puffy eyes. All you need is a potato and a knife or slicer!

To Make:

1. Slice 1/4 potato to fit over your eyes.

2. Cut 2 slices or, if you prefer, 5 to 10 very thin slices, several for each eye. Either method works.

To Use:

1. Spritz eye area with water.
2. Lying down, place the potato slices on your eyelids and leave in place for at least 10 minutes for best results.

More info is in my book and the homemade recipie book also. Check it out: http://www.make-up-tip.com

Take Care
Lorette
