Summer Makeup

One of the biggest mistakes a woman can make is to wear too much makeup. especially in summer when the heat can melt away eyeshadow & foundation. But too much makeup can actually add 10 years to a person. You know the look: Pancake foundation, clown-ish blush & tarantula eyelashes, the black eyeliner a half an inch thick.

We believe that in summertime the average woman needs only:
1. Sunscreen
2. A concealer for undereye circles & blemishes
3. A tinted moisturizer
4. Mascara
5. A light colored lipstick or gloss
6. Soft eyeshadow shades for nighttime
7. Self-tanner

Depending on your skin color, you might not need blush in the summertime.
These are just the basics -- add a shimmery bronze for your 'T-spot' & a spritz of a light fragrance & you're good to go.

I'd really appreciate some tips for light summer makeup for Asian women with completely creaseless single eyelids. I don't know if you've ever seen one of these difficult-to-make-up things, but it's like a thick fold of skin that hangs over and completely covers the edge of the upper eyelid including the eyelashes. If I wear mascara alone you can't even see it, all the eyelashes are covered up by that thick fold of skin! And if I don't use eye makeup I look like those TV monsters that don't have eyes, just a blank space of empty skin where the eyes are supposed to be! I don't have much time to mess with a lot of makeup so I'd like to know what sort of makeup is absolutely essential (and quick) for someone like me. Thank you!
