Water damage to your hands

An old roomate of mine always wore rubber gloves when washing dishes, and she said she did that to protect her hands and nails, something her mother did when she was growing up.

So i was curious to see what her mothers hands looked like, believe it or not, they looked great - she said she wears gloves all the time when washing dishes and doing yard work.

So, get into the habit of wearing rubber gloves when you do any cleaning around the house.
The reason? Cleaning agents can be extremely harsh on both nails and hands. The nails when exposed to water, swell and then shrink back as they dry. This contributes to brittle nails.
